I would be all in for this strategy. That being said if the price is too high, I'm fine brining in a stop gap QB and get ready for the great QB class next year. Also if Washington is dumb enough to let Cousins hit the market, go all in for him.

Getting cousin's myles Garrett and Eric berry would be a godsend.

The Jay Cutler Era is all but over in Chicago.

The oft-criticized quarterback is dealing with a shoulder injury that should end his season, and with no more guaranteed money tied to his contract, there's an approximately 379 percent chance the Bears will say goodbye.

If so, Jay Cutler exits Chicago as the Bears' all-time leading passer. How about that? The Bears had two winning seasons in seven years with Cutler and just a single playoff win (way back in 2010). At least most Bears fans have the Cubs.

And now, here's (probably) Jay Cutler's final pass as a member of the Chicago Bears. Let's all light up a cig and dangle it one last time.

Thank god.

Draft Myles Garrett (best player in the draft) #2 overall.
Trade whatever it takes to get Jimmy Garoppolo. (except for the #2 overall pick in 2017) (Could have had Jimmy instead of Ego Ferguson) (Told you idiots)

This will give you 2 new faces of the franchise to build the dynasty. The Myles Garrett/Lenny Floyd would be devastating for opposing QB's. It would be Denver-esque.

Do whatever it takes to not trade for Crapollo

No drafting other players and hoping someone falls, no fucking around, no trade packages for backup game managers from the Pats. The QB is leaving, they have their highest pick in years just at the right time. Don't overthink it. Draft the best QB available with the 2nd/3rd overall pick and go with it.

I strongly suspect the Browns will take Garrett. Kessler has shown some ability and they'll want a can't miss impact player, imo. They'll probably be back with another high pick in 2018 if Kessler doesn't develop well.

That means the Bears should have their choice of pretty much any QB in the draft. Identify the guy you think is the best, and just go with it.

Say whaaaaa?? He is a rich man's Matt Cassell...

Love smokin jay and his commitment to the smokes. But it was his throwing (right) shoulder.

Plus Hospitals are filled with pure oxygen, lighting a cig would be a disaster. Would Jay risk destroying everything for one possible moment of glory?

Oh, that's right.

It's like you don't even know Jimmy.

And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain.

I've lived a life that's full.
I've traveled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I've had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.

I've loved, I've laughed and cried.
I've had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
"Oh no, oh no not me,
I did it my way".

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!

Yes, it was my way.

Jay is a warrior. Love him or hate him, he gave it his all. He played through pain. He played through everything.

He also refused to change his mechanics and pocket awareness and that fucking cost us games. Sure he is a tough QB, but God we gave him far too many chances to help improve our team.

Thank you Jay for all those picks,
and making us want to rip off all our dicks.

Thank you Jay for taking a beating,
and giving us that annual high draft pick seeding.

Thank you Jay for tying J. Webbs laces,
and making us want to put a paper bag over our faces.

Thank you Jay for being a trooper,
and every lack of pocket awareness blooper.
