How does anyone want Watson? I'd be willing to bet my left pinky toe that he won't be anything more than a backup. His accuracy is horrid and he's not big enough to live on his legs alone.

FA

1. Alshon Jeffery
2.?
3.?

1[3]Deshone Kizer QB Notre Dame

2[35] Dawuane Smoot OLB Illinois

3[67]Cameron Sutton CB Tennessee

4. Conor Mcdrmott OT UCLA

4. Quin Blanding S Pitt

5. Cole Hikutini TE Louisville

7. Akhello Witherspoon CB Colorado

Suttons injury might push him further down the draft if smoot is there at round 2 I'd draft him before the clock hit **:59

I think that's a good place for him. He was looking like a potential 1st round, high 2nd kind of guy. He has enough tape out there and the fact that the injury happened early in the year gives teams enough time to make sure everything is in order.

horrid accuracy???

are you referring to ball placement or completion %

His completion % is good, not great but better than Kizer by a few points. His ball placement is a little inconsistent, I think it's attributed to his inconsistent footwork and release. He needs some work as do all these guys but he possesses a lot of intriguing characteristics.

His accuracy isn't horrid until he faces pressure...then has some issues.

I am not sure how Watson at 6'2" 215lbs is too small to survive?

That is the exact same size as Derek Carr and bigger than Russell Wilson.

Watson's accuracy is not bad.

He has just thrown some dumb ass picks this season and taken too many risks.

To survive as a primarily running QB, which he will have to in my opinion. Almost all QB accuracy issues are do to dealing with pressure or bad footwork. A QB won't make it to the NFL not being accurate with no pressure and being able to concentrate on foot work. Unless we are seriously upgrading our line both issues will rear their ugly head. He's exciting to watch but I just don't see NFL franchise QB. I've been wrong alot and very well could be on this as well.

Footwork can be improved, almost all QBs need to improve their footwork.

Again his accuracy is not an issue.

Decision making, maybe. Deep accuracy, is about average.

I'm impressed with his power, he plays like an unstoppable force combined with his quickness and speed to turn the corner, I still need to watch nflbreakdowns of his play though.

Pretty much this. People also thought Mariota would need to survive by running. He tweaked his Arm slot and release and now has one of the prettiest deep balls in the NFL.

He started working on it during the pre draft process so by the time he got to training camp he was already much improved.

CB or Safety has to be a priority in FA's. Trumaine Johnson and Stephone Gilmore are both UFA's I believe.

Realistically?

I think Alshon Jeffery is gone. I'll go with

1) Stephon Gilmore: Bills have some cap issues ahead with lots of players getting decent to sizable raises into next year in Taylor, Glenn, Kyle Williams, Dareus, Eric Wood, Clay, and others to lesser amounts; and they've shown they'll recycle the secondary in previous years letting McKelvin, Byrd, and Searcy. Doug Whaley said earlier this NFL season Gilmore is a core defensive player, but he wont be held hostage.

There's a lot of great CBs available, but I think Gilmore is one that slips through cracks. No doubt it would cost the bears a big contract with guaranteed money, and the latest reports are still that he and Buffalo are not close on yearly numbers.

2) Menelik Watson: Raiders will have some cap room next year, but I expect DJ Hayden to get his payday as well as Latavius Murray; and the groundwork ahead for Carr's big deal. Bears need someone to push Leno, and to get some depth as well. He's no bookend hall-of-famer, but a smart, affordable piece in his mid 20s. I see Pace going for that.

3) Kamar Aiken: Ravens, another cap strapped team are likely to not be able to extend him. I see a reasonable deal for Pace to get a #2 WR.

Draft:

1 (3): Jabrill Peppers: Impact secondary player who immediately upgrades S/KR/PR positions

2 (35): Julie'n Davenport: More help on the offensive line

3 (67): Luke Falk: Quarterback

4: Chidobe Awuzie (Colorado - CB depth)

4: Jake Replogue (Purdue - 5 tech depth)

5: Cole Hikutini (Louisville - TE)

7: Pick an irrelevant name who wont be on the team in 3 years.

I just think if Falk doesn't play at some point in year 1 or look like something in the first couple of seasons, I think he gets Pace fired.
