he is clearly not a starter in this league and for those who think he is please get a mri. i have no problem keeping him around to fight for a backup position though.

there is a reason why this guy couldn't make two other teams as a 3rd string QB. And some where talking as if he should be our starter next year? if we are going to go with a Journeyman QB while we groom a Rookie QB i would rather have Hoyer.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. DePaul Blue Demons
I find it odd that anyone thought he was a legitimate candidate to start.

He still has potential. He simply needs to work on the overthrows.

And the only reason he is starting is because all the other QBs are on IR.
He needs more development.

This has been obvious for weeks. He has no accuracy and can't do anything unless down by 17 in the fourth quarter. Draft Kizer.

The Bears need Theo Epstein to come in, tear this shit up, and start all over.

Anyone that thought there would be a bidding war for him is an idiot. I hadn't watched him since he was in Philly(he was horrible then too) and saw all the hype on this forum for him. Checked out the game today, he's still horrible.

That last pick was ironically underthrown when his patent overthrow would have been more apropo.

Every member here who drank the Barkley kool-aid should be given a permanent vacation from this board. There's no reason they should be here in the first place since they obviously don't know a lick about football.

It's weird, with so many needs on this team, a lot of you guys seemed to hope he would go backwards. Almost like you hate this player more than you love the Bears. I just don't get it.

Agreed. The amount of bullshit Barkley is the answer posts has been nauseating.

50% completions and 5 int's show he doesn't belong in this league. Those are pedestrian numbers. Most of you guys could accomplish that.

He and Hoyer can fight it out for the #2 spot behind a real starter or fight it out for the #1 spot so we can draft top 2-3 when there's a good qb class
