After things were flying along just fine for the Hawks during a 5-game winning streak in the middle of December, the tides have grown significantly rougher with the team now in the middle of a 3-game losing skid. Injuries are a big part to blame and will be again tonight, with Hossa out after switching IR spots with Anisimov. The top scoring line of 72-15-88 is back together, though, and we all know that team can single-handedly carry this squad to a victory. But with the incredible D depth on Nashville, some other pairings will need to step up.

Hartman - Toews - Motte running through morning skate together. Hinostroza on the fourth line and Desjardins looks like the odd man out.

I like Hartman with Toews, but I don't know that Motte will do alot of good up there.

I would like to see a Hartman - Toews - Kane line.... similar to Shaw - Toews - Kane

Stick Motte with Panarin and AA.... he might do something with those 2

If the game doesn't start off well, that would be a good "Q line blender" combo.
Hopefully, they are all not running around like assholes throughout the first period as has been the norm lately.
