Go ahead, try and figure out the Nashville Predators this year. They were dubbed 2016 offseason champions after getting PK Subban for Shea Weber in a trade with Montreal, adding one of the league's most exciting players to a D corps that was already among the league's best. But outside a brief stretch in November, this team still hasn't found its footing in the 2016-17 season as we're approaching the halfway point of the season. Subban won't skate tonight, either, as he's been placed on IR with an injury that has him out for a few more weeks. Nashville hasn't been playing great, losing five of their last seven (including a 3-2 loss to these Hawks at home a week ago). No reason to let them figure things out tonight.

Out of words to describe Panarin's one-timers at this point. Just total mastery of a skill at a level that I don't think I've ever seen on the Hawks.

Not at all.. Desjardins has been statically worse in ever way. Goals against, corsi, not good when used on pk. Desji starting the tear hurt was so good cause it let young guys fit on the roster but really it's just showcased how Moose or a couple year vets like Kero are better at his role.

But this team is taking that One Goal slogan seriously to their leads this season.

Dang I was hoping he would get a Sessions... noted earlier the predator guy had the first ever NHL hat trick games ago where the 2nd goal was empty net but the 3rd was scored on a goalie
