- Kizer looked better than he did last month at the scouting combine, making about 60 scripted throws. He showed off his strong arm and ability to throw a tight spiral and catchable ball. He moved well on designed rollouts and looked smoother throwing to his left than he did in Indianapolis.

"I thought it was a positive workout for him," Lynch said. "He had a good day, there's no doubt about it."

- Kizer took command of the drills, and multiple scouts said they liked how he managed the workout, which included no receiving targets who would be viewed as solid NFL material.

DeShone Kizer won't be the first QB drafted, maybe not the 2nd, but in 3 years he will be the best QB to come out of this class. Book it!

Kizer sucks. You can talk about potential all day long. Do you feel this guy will elevate his play in the pros and lift a franchise and have the team rally behind him? Those are the questions you ask when you're talking about a franchise QB. If the answer is no, you move on. If he has those intangibles, you then project their mechanics, accuracy etc. Kizer will amount to a backup at best in the NFL.

Heard Kizer missed 12 throws at his Pro Day...most guys on average miss less than 10 during their well rehearsed workouts in the underwear Olympics.

He was working with less than ideal WR's.

You know Greg Gabriel the guy who still says Rex Grossman was a fantastic draft pick despite only starting 47 games over his 10 year NFL career. Ask him about Grossman on twitter sometime.

Also...

" He managed to impress without much familiarity with the receivers he worked with at the pro day"

Greg Gabriel also said that the pro day is not the important test for Kizer. It's during team visits where he has no idea what he'll be asked to do. Teams will ask him to do the stuff he's bad at and see how he does.

My favorite teams

WTF? Did he not throw to ND WRs during the season or did they not show to help their leader? I'm not bashing him here. That just doesn't make any sense at a school Pro Day.

He couldnt elevate Notre Dame over bad teams last year, how do you expect him to do it in the pros?

Kind of a stupid thought. He came off the bench and lead a team full of NFL talent to the cusp of a playoff birth in 2015. 2016 was a horrid season for ND all around but the offense under Kizer was still a 30+PPG offense and he was the best player on it.
