OK kids. It's almost draft day. (Thank god)

We've hashed and rehashed, and hashed again all the QB's and top picks.

Give me the guy you think will be this years Howard.

If we wait until day 3 to draft a TE, I'm all aboard the Bucky Hodges train

Cam Sutton has been overlooked due to the amount of DBs in draft.

Isaiah Mckenzie could be a nice weapon in slot and on returns.

Taywan Taylor has gotten some buzz but not enough IMO.

D'Onta Foreman ran for like 2 k yards last year and is a nice power back yet is rarely mentioned.

Machine Gun Kelly is IMO a 1st Rd pick if he was a tad less crazy.

This year's Howard is Brian Hill, in that they are both RBs that have the same playstyle and are too strong for just one guy to be able to reliably bring him down. I have the Bears drafting him in the third round, though, as there are so many 3rd round comp picks that I do not trust that he'd fall to our 4th.

As far as guaranteed day 3 players, regardless of position, that will jump out in their first year, I am going with Eric Saubert (TE out of Drake). He looked good as a receiving TE in the senior bowl, and catch-and-run skills are becoming more important than blocking skills for a TE every year. Bet he puts up 40-50 catches for 15 yards a pop.

I'll go with Chad Hansen, Marcus Maye, Jeremy Sprinkle, and Nazair Jones as some mid/late round bargains.

Eric Saubert TE, Drake

I'm thinking 5th-7th round type guys. I think most of these guys might even be more 7th rd types.

  1. Miami Hurricanes
  2. Northern Illinois Huskies
My favorite sleepers have all been mentioned:

Cam Sutton doesn't get talked about much
Eddie Jackson is a first rounder before his injury
KD Cannon is silky smooth and can blow the top off a defense

Gonna avoid being a huge Miami homer, but watch out for Corn Elder once he gets in the league.

George Kittle, TE, Iowa. I think this guy will be a great TE at the next level. Was said to be one of the highest-rated TEs in college football last summer, but injuries derailed him this year. Incredible combine numbers. Excellent blocking technique. Athletic and good hands. Would love him with one of our 4ths if we dont get a TE earlier.

Kittle reminds me a bit of Travis kelce. I feel he was held back by the Iowa offense. If he goes to the right team he could be a great weapon. He will have a better pro career than college
