Adams or Thomas will probably be the pick. It's what I'm going into Thursday expecting.

A safety with the third pick would be a complete joke and so bears.

Can't wait for this draft to be over

I know it's true though pace would be going out of his M.O if he did and I wouldn't bet he will. He has been taking Bpa for a he last three years Watson is not the third best player available so ya that pretty bitchmaid

To be honest, as sad as it is, TMZ is probably the most reliable source when it comes to getting to the bottom of dirt. It's their bread and butter. I would expect the sports sites to get this info from them more than the other way around. If they're saying it's Conley, it probably is.

Damn, Trey Wingo's sad voice is going to be worn out soon.

Safety is not by default a bad option at #3, but a strong safety with average at best cover skills definitely IS a bad option, no matter the leadership "intangibles".

Btw. I'll really start to hate this "intangible" gimmick which only purpose is to hide average skillset of certain players (be that arm talent in Watson's case, or coverage ability in case of Adams).

I doubt it will happen, I just worry about Howard and his injury history in college. I am afraid if we start giving 20+ touches we may run him down. And I think LF could be a generational talent.

B.Cunningham will be a good RB2 and better than people think especially in the passing game, but i've said this more than once on here that i'd have no problem at all if we traded down a few spots and took C.McCaffrey. He'd be the perfect RB to have with J.Howard.

DON’T BET ON A QUARTERBACK IN ROUND 1, PER A HIGH-LEVEL SOURCE WITH THE TEAM. DEFENSIVE BACK IS MUCH MORE LIKELY, WITH JAMAL ADAMS AND MARSHON LATTIMORE EARNING HIGH GRADES ON THE TEAM’S BOARD. A QUARTERBACK IS MORE LIKELY ON DAY 2 OF THE DRAFT. ODDLY ENOUGH, MY SOURCE SAID THEY’VE DONE A TON OF WORK ON RUNNING BACKS AND WOULDN’T RULE ONE OUT IN ROUND 2 OR 3.”

If we stay at #3 i agree with these two being his #1 and #2 left on his 1st round board.

If we are set on taking defense hope it's Thomas or Allen. Adams or hooker are no Sean Taylor. I wish lattimore wasn't injury prone he's a special talent

From top 15 pick to this...

Greg Gabriel‏ @greggabe

Unless he can get cleared in next 48 hours, Garson Conley will be next La'el Collins and go undrafted
1:06 PM · Apr 25, 2017
I would be all for the Bears using a 7th on him and then coming out immediately and saying, "Conley is a very talented player and while we would love to have him as a Bear, he will not be signed unless he is cleared of all charges. If it is deemed he has been falsely accused, we will welcome him as with all our draft picks, but not until that happens will he be welcome in Halas Hall."

McShay: Bears heavily connected to Jamal Adams and Solomon Thomas.

If we stay at #3 i agree with these two being his #1 and #2 left on his 1st round board.

With Pace's track record of [1] looking for the uber-athlete type with his #1, and [2] preferring DL/edge & OL with his higher draft picks, I'd say its more likely to be a case of those two being his #2 (Adams) and #1 (Thomas), not the other way around. Of course, none of us has a clue as to what the Bears board really looks like, but that would be the way to bet...
