With 60+ games left its not the beat all, end all of a series....would've been more important if the Cubs were still 5 back. Cubs lose 2 of 3, they still lead. But if the Cubs were to sweep....that might be a ***** in the armor that the Brew Crew might not be able to over come. Psychologically speaking.

It's a nice homestand. 3 at Wrigley with STL, 4 at home with the Sox in Wrigley south, and now 3 at home with the Brewers in Wrigley north. I expect KB to lead us to win this series, i want his RBIs

It's amazing how quickly a season can turn. I'm still not completely sold on the roster construction, but the ASB and Quintana trade has lit a fire under this team's butt. Punch the Brewers in the neck and don't look back.

Almost hit three home runs and have a seat kid.

It's the right thing to do. Schwarber hasn't been in the lineup against lefties since what? May? Let him ride the high, plenty of time to learn to hit against lefties later.

Are they scared of the brewers?

They were sloppy and flat in that 1 game at home against them..

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come with Quintana in big games..


Granted it July but it a big game as far as playing the team their battling for 1st place and a playoff spot...

You have a real tendency for jumping on players for being imperfect.

Quintana doesn't shut out a very good offensive team, and it's " a sign of things to come"?

This after allowing two runs?

Has he really performed at a level deserving of criticism?
