Why does Maddon continue to hit Schwarber up in the order when he struggling..
He 3 for last 26 this pass week hitting 2nd..
Why not just leave LaStella who been hitting, in 2 hole and bat Schwarbs 5th or 6th where he should be to drive in runs..

Tomorrow last day to add a waiver trade or claim and have them eligible for playoffs..
Look for cubs to possibly deal for a back up SS as Russell had a set back today with his foot..
Hearing Verlander could be on cubs radar again..
Mainly because Cubs might see him as a better option for next couple sessons over any FA available and might look to nab him now over waiting in off season where there may be more competition for him.
