Cubs have been cash money since the break. Completely opposite of what they tend to be historically-world beaters until the break, when they promptly shit the bed.

Great start to the series! Nothing like a pitching duel to start this series off and Hendricks was Maddux-like! Not sure what his contract status is, but he needs to be a lifer! Bryzzo Inc. came through in the clutch! Might as well make them lifers too!

Maddux spoke to the Cubs minor league players back when Kyle was in AA ball. What he took from the conversation was fastball command. He pitches like him in approach. He locates his pitches and pitches to cold zones to generate lite contact.

Read a stat that Scherzer, Strasburg, and Jordan Zimmerman have a 2.45 ERA in postseason, and are 0-6.

Baker + Cubs winning last year has me very much at ease. Last year, I was on pins and needles when the postseason started. As for Baker, I know he's going to make some stupid decision that costs the Nats the series.
