I think you need to reread the premise. I said I would rather have 1 excellent triple cheeseburger than 2 average double cheeseburgers. Pay attention

Or you could combine the two doubles and made a McQuaddle. Sorry bro you lose

Why don't you try not being just a clown in general first. Then worry about others.
Pay attention. I stated a premise and each of these morons attacked me FIRST. Maybe you should get some perspective

This is the NFL; depth and quality is far more important than one player. I'm not advocating trading back for the sake of it but if you feel that two guys are graded fairly similarly and that there is excess capital to trade back to, I think you do it.

For example, the Bears trading back 8 to 11 and getting Landry. Obviously you miss out on the opportunity to draft three players (8,9,10) but you obviously acquire a fairly well established asset in Landry and you're most likely not looking at getting some vastly far inferior player at 11 than at 8.

I tend to think Pace is far too aggressive in trading up and far too casual in trading back in the 2/3/4 area. But to say that trading down is stupid ironic since saying something like that is stupid.

Comprehension is not your friendI would rather have 1 excellent triple cheeseburger than 2 average double cheeseburgers. Too easy to crush you

A. then you're either lying or a full fucking moran; no points for falsely asserting that 3 patties are of more vlaue than 4 patties......just stop
B. you, of course, didn't answer the 2 questions from Post #2 because, well, facts do not fit your Devin Nunes-like narrative and g-g-g-g-g-ood brain
C. then give me 3 $20 bills in exchange from my excellent $50 bill, k?

You trolled a false premise that you knew would get butchered because you are craving some attention, feel better now?

Nice alligator tears about getting "attacked", you are the most uncivil person in this thread.

It's the same meat thus having 4 beef patties over 3 is clearly the better deal. The condiments and bun are just throw ins.

It's a fact that each trade/transaction can be won or lost regardless of position, whether trading up or down or laterally.

Only a simple minded fool would believe there is a unique disadvantage to trade down.

If you truly believe this gibberish and this not just an attention-whoring troll job, then please address the following:

1. link to empirical data supporting your assertion
2. explain why the Bears' strategy should not be to trade up in each and every round, since you assert that the party trading down always loses, so why not take advantage of your analytics?

You do realize he has not answered this and I would put a hundred bucks on that he never will. He is a fucking troll and not even a good one at that.

The "TRADE DOWN" is popular with fans that dont know much about the NFL. They think that with more picks that some of that shit will stick to the wall. It's a coward's strategy that doesnt trust their own scouting staffs to make a great pick

Its a fact that the higher you draft the better players you get, in the vast majority of the time. So, let's lose out on a better player in the hopes that 2 lesser players will be better? DUH

I'm in agreement, no trade downs. Get that 1 different maker high in the draft instead of two guys who may or may not pan out. Trade downs are for bozos.

Why do people keep falling for omelet's gimmick? Anyone who is foolish enough to not realize the value of trading down at times is either trolling or dumb

Pace has great in the middle rounds so I would OK with a trade down. Overall I believe Omletshorts would be right, but not with Pace. He is better later in the draft. It's his saving grace.

Everyone already knows your stance on this so posting about it is an obvious attempt to get attention. Did it work for ya, snowflake?
