If Nelson and Edmunds are both there at 8 who would you take? My first reaction is to take Nelson without hesitation, but then I consider that Edmunds looks like he could be Urlacher 2.0 and I want to take him and look for a OG in round 2.

That depends. Are you willing to bank on possibilities or probabilities? Because its possible Edmunds could become Urlacher 2.0 but its probable Nelson becomes Hutchinson 2.0.

That's a good point. It's not exciting, but it would be so good for this team is Nelson is there at 8.

A dominant MLB, who at 19 is likely to get much better, is far more valuable to a team than a dominant OG.

I don't think you could lose on either player at this point.

Beg to differ. A dominant guard to anchor a position for you for a decade protecting your franchise quarterback (which will eventually be the most expensive player on your roster) represents a lot considering said MLB would be entering an already top 10 defense while said guard would be entering a bottom feeder offense. The impact of the guard would be more immediate and significant than to the defense which is already good.

Sounds like this year's Browns draft.
