But the Bears want to pay him 6 million next season even when we have Adam Shaheen, Trey Burton, and even Daniel Brown.

Hype him up so we can ship him to the Chargers.

Sims isn’t an upgrade over Virgil Green. They’ll either convince Gates to come back or wait until cuts to scrape the bottom for someone.

But in all seriousness, why wouldn't the Chargers just try out someone like Julius Thomas or Coby Fleener? At least they've done SOMETHING in the past, whereas Sims has done... what exactly?

Zero trade value right now, especially at a $6M cap hit.

Loved me some Gates back in the day... but the dude has been riding his past for years now.
Wouldnt be surprised if they tried to get someone else.
