This tells us they want to get Contreras more days off but arent happy with Caratini catching more then just Hamels..

Meaning Contreras will probably get 2 days off through the rotation the rest of year to get him fresh for the postseason

Smyly just went on a rehab at SB also. I’m pretty sure he will be added when rosters expand

I know nothing on the catcher. Same situation though. 40 man roster adds depth in Sept for a 11 game run

Both are similar. Guys traded. We gave up the better bat. Guy we got is a better framer/game caller

Murphy hasn't played LF in a decade, and there's a reason Schwarber is an emergency catcher only. But other than that, great idea!
