How many players on defense get Pro Bowl nods?

Assuming the defense plays at a high level all season. As long as he stays healthy, Mack is going to be a shoe in as a starter at this rate. I could see Hicks getting in as a reserve, same for Trevethan.

Really depends on what happens. If the D continues this same level of play, which is a pace of 80 sacks and 16 TDs, I think you'll see many of our players as the starters.

Pro Bowl is mostly a popularity contest. I can see Mack being a shoe-in, but others may just be alternates and backups. Depends how much publicity our players get.

The most a defense has had since 2000 is 61. If '18 Bears sniff 80, i'm pretty sure they would be in conversation as the best defense ever.

Yeah that was sort of the point. I think the most all time sacks and was 72. And I'm sure 16 TDs would be the most ever by far. So, yeah, basically the entire defense would be probowlers

I did say as long as they continue to play at a high level, not necessarily the insane level they have to start the season. There's no way they'll keep what they've done up for the whole season, but as long as they stay healthy, there's no reason they can't be a top-5 defense with multiple pro bowlers.

I could see it being no one outside of Mack. Last season we had players at a pro bowl level they just didn't get the recognition.

There's also that NFL top 100 show that hasn't featured a Bear in like 5 years? That should change.
