I hate GB with every oz of my being, but agree that Clay Matthews was boned on several "roughing the passer" textbook perfect tackles.

the only thing I can come up with, is perhaps a ref thought he hit his helmet which would be grounds to throw the flag. But even that is really iffy

We get the benefit of replaying it over and over again. I don't agree with the call, but I could see how a ref thought Brock was hit in the head. Everyone knows the league is clamping down on hits to the head, and rightfully so. There's going to be calls like this.

I don't remember the situation here, but did it cost us the game?

Refs typically meet up & confirm if there's any doubt. They do pick up flags. This should've been one of those times. Brock's own arm seems to have grazed his own helmet after it was swiped during the throw. Flyod's No excuse.
