So many good offensive players.....Bears won’t have any pro bowlers on offense....

Defense is a different story

5 will get in from each conference.

3 will play in the game, the SB representatives will decline and likely 1 other due to minor injury.

My guess for NFC:

Rodgers (declines)
Brees (SB)
Goff
Ryan
Cousins

Just looking at the stats, there are 19 QBs that have atleast a 2:1 TD to INT ratio. Just insane so far. Stats are so inflated with the new rules.

I think McMahon was 2nd in the NFC. Ken O'Brien was with the Jets.

There you go. Thanks.
Also, Mitch is not making this year's Pro Bowl.

I would say probably not, but if he goes on a tear then who knows.. But the fact that we are even talking about a Bears QB being in the discussion is huge lol

Pro Bowl isn't an honor any more. Just win the division and make the playoffs...

Burton will be the only offensive player in the pro bowl.
Defense could have a few players in it. Mack, Hicks, Fuller, Callahan, Jackson.

You think Burton has probowl production?

He's the only offensive player with a chance.. He's tied for 1st in TD's. Kittle/Ertz are the lead dogs, but Burton and OJ Howard are putting up good numbers too.

I don't think it's crazy to believe that Trubisky has a chance of making it as an alternate if he puts on a good show against the Vikings on National tv.
Fans typically like exciting young quarterbacks.

If he shows out against Minny, he could very well edge out Cousins.

Mitch currently has more TDs and less TOs.

While Cousins has more yards, Mitch is averaging more yards per attempt...

Rodgers is kind of having an ass year to go along with the Packers kind of having an ass year.

Goff and Brees are guarantees

Ryan and Wilson, if the Seahawks make the playoffs, would be ahead of him.

Trubisky is having a pretty unique year,

This stat from the @billbarnwell & @WillBrinson podcast:

#Bears Mitchell Trubisky is on pace to become only the second QB ever to pass for 3500+ yards, throw 30+ TDs and run for 600+ yards.

The only other? Cam Newton during his MVP 2015 season.

Does anyone here actually watch football? Just wondering.

I have watched every Packers game and he is not playing at the super elite level that he usually does. More accurately he is having an ass year byu his standards and that of Goff and Brees.

You cannot really put him in the conversation with Goff and Brees.

Cousins has more yards simply on throwing volume.......he has not been efficient as Trubisky...

Does Mitch get voted into the Pro Bowl this year with his performance so far? In a QB heavy NFC, you got a lot of the "big" names to compete with, since it can be a popularity contest. I am only attaching names that have VALUE and reasonable performance. For example, while Eli Manning has name value, his performance does not qualify him, so he will not be included.

North - Rodgers, Cousins, Stafford
East - Smith, Wentz
West - Goff, Wilson
South - Brees, Newton, Ryan

I think the top two are no doubt Brees and Goff. Also, team records have a lot to do with it, so I feel like Alex Smith would garner some votes. But what about Trubisky in a QB heavy NFC North?

At this point, I'd place Trubisky maybe 5th among NFC QBs (Brees, Goff, Cousins, Rodgers).

Thoughts?

17TD to 1int = ass year?

Maybe the Packers are having an ass year, but Rodgers is still doing his thing. I suppose you could say he has been outshined by some other QBs this year, but he'll still make the probowl.

I have watched every Packers game as well and he is playing even better this year than last year...with a much more dysfunctional situation around him.

I'd say Brees, Goff and Newton. (Mostly because Newton is more nationally recognized and has been putting up career #'s this year. Even though they're very similar to Trubisky's who's only in his 2nd year.)

I'll go a step further and say Midway Mitch won't even show up in the NFL top 100.
