Wow, that list brings back a lot of memories. Those guys played when I watched a lot more games league wide. I don't know as much about the NFL as a whole because I mostly watch Bears games and don't play fantasy or Madden.

I might have to revisit this...

Tony Gonzalez and Ed Reed should be locks. I would also vote for Champ Bailey.

After that it gets tougher. I'm surprised Jimmy Johnson's not in there yet.

Do LeRoy Butler and Richard Seymour deserve to be on that list? I haven't looked up their stats, but they never struck me as HOF caliber players.

Gonzalez, Reed, and Zach Thomas are or should be locks.

At the end of the process you vote for 5 players. I'd vote for these five from the above list:

Tony Gonzalez
Ed Reed
Zach Thomas
Champ Bailey
Don Coryell

I have Tony Gonzalez and Ed Reed as first time locks
Isaac Bruce and maybe Holt?--IMO you cant have Holt in if Isaac Bruce doesnt get in first but I think they both get in- That should set up Hines Ward for next yr or at least open the flood gates for WRs. Bruce has been nominated 8 times--He gets in

I like Don Coryell finally- If its not him then Jimmy Johnson goes in i think

Gonzalez
Reed
Bruce and Holt or just Bruce
Coryell or Johnson
Edge James-------Everyone around him on the stat sheet is already in----It's his turn

Edit---Im adding John Lynch to this list for a defensive position
