The Fighting Illini looked to make a statement against the 0-3 Miami (OH) RedHawks after losing to Washington at Soldier Field two weeks ago. Igniting for 50 points—Illinois did just that. Washington crashes the Illinois homecoming with a 34-24 victory at Soldier Field

The Washington Huskies looked at home in the Illini’s Chicago homecoming at Soldier Field, overcoming a 14-0 second half run by Illinois to hold onto the 34-24 win.
