Favorite Chicago Sports Memory: The Bears 2006 Super-Bowl run. Watching the Bears trump the Saints in the 2006 NFC Championship game makes my heart happy. Also the Mike Brown games vs Cleveland/San Francisco. Cutler tearing up Philly for 4 TD’s as well this season.
Favorite Chicago Sports Athlete: Devin Hester and Jay Cutler

Beat: All Chicago Teams, follow the Bears, Bulls and Cubs religiously.
Bio: My father was a Chicago transplant to Southern Kentucky, and I drank the juice early in life. Grew up assuming excellence was standard with the Bulls in the 90′s. I’ve had my struggles w/ the Cubs and Bears, and until recently the Blackhawks, but I’m convinced they’ll all pull through. I have a degree in Elementary Education, and I’m currently working as a community liaison/data entry for a local business. I like to spend my free time on Lake Cumberland, the houseboat capital of the world!
Favorite Chicago Sports Memory: Kerry Wood’s 20K game against Houston, and the Bears/Arizona game…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDAq5tyfk9E&NR=1…Thanks Dennis Green!
Favorite Chicago Sports Athlete: Derrick Rose, Marlon Byrd, Julius Peppers

Bio: I haven’t missed a Bulls game in 25 years*. Astrix because a handful of them were taped and watched no more than a day later thanks to either work or school, and a few missed live thanks to being in the military(well, like a few seasons, but I caught up!) I also have been a conscious Bulls fan for longer than that and I hope to go another 25 without hiccups! I haven’t missed a Bears game in almost as long, and I catch about 20 Hawks games a season, between the rest.
I support both baseball clubs. My parents were from the northside and lived in Wrigleyville, but I grew up within a ‘city walking’ distance from Comiskey. My family moved to Green Bay in the heat of the football season. Lucky for me it was only for 2 months, then we moved back to good old chi-town. At that point I didn’t care about northside and southside. My city pride grew and all that matters was the Chicago that stood in front of the name. At least this made sense to me as a kid. Since then I never really chose one baseball team over the other, I’ll figure this out when they meet each other in the World Series.
Favorite Chicago Sports Memory: The riots after the 1991 NBA Finals. Even a humble Bulls fan only cautiously optimistic at that point. The car next to mine was flipped over, there was a street fire when I looked out of my back window. Drunk strangers were hugging each other, throwing some serious high-fives out and knocking down poles. That is when you couldn’t help but realizing, shit just got real.
Favorite Chicago Sports Athlete: Joakim Noah and Mike Brown
Claim to Fame: I went swimming, stoned, off an island in Hawai’i. I fell asleep in the ocean at 1AM. I woke up at 4AM and found myself 10 miles off the coast. I’m here today, nuff said.

Location: Joliet, IL
Beat: Chicago Blackhawks
Bio: I attend Elmhurst College in Illinois where I host my own 2-hour radio show covering Chicago Sports. I have been a Chicago sports fan ever since the day I was born and fell in love with the sport of hockey when my dad took my brother and I to my first Chicago Blackhawks game when we were just 2 years old. Ever since that day, my biggest passion has been following my favorite Chicago Sports team and sport religiously 24/7, 365 days a year!
Favorite Chicago Sports Memory: Attending the 2010 Winter Classic at Wrigley Field between the Red Wings-Blackhawks and being able to witness (on television) the Blackhawks winning their 4th Stanley Cup in team history with my dad who finally got to see his favorite team win one in 49 years! Oh, and the Stanley Cup parade in Chicago down Michigan Avenue afterwards was pretty wild, too…
Favorite Chicago Sports Athlete(s): Tony Amonte, Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Sharp, Corey Crawford, Starlin Castro.
Claim to Fame: I caught Paul Konerko’s home-run ball at Wrigley Field during a Cubs-Sox game when I was about 11 years old. After the game ended, a close friend of Konerko’s saw me walking up the stairs from the section I was sitting in showing off the ball to everyone. She pulled me aside and explained to me how she knew Konerko. As she was telling me this, she took out her phone, dialed his number and handed me the phone telling me to leave him a voicemail. Even though I didn’t get to talk to him, it was still a pretty cool day especially since I was just a kid that didn’t really know what was going on at the time (because it was happening so fast) until I actually thought about it on the car ride home… It made it that more exciting!

Beats: Chicago Cubs & Chicago Blackhawks
Bio: I am 18 years old and a Business major at the University of Iowa. I am a huge fan of the Cubs, Bears, Hawks, Bulls, and Notre Dame. Pursuing a career of working in a front office of a professional sports team. I have been taking a more active role lately with the website writing a lot of recaps for the Cubs and Hawks and making sure someone does a recap for every game.
Favorite Chicago Sports Memory: Watching the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup in 2010 with all my friends. Two days later, getting up at 4:00A.M. to go the parade. By far the greatest sports memory I have. But one day, the Chicago Cubs championship parade will take over.
Favorite Chicago Athlete: Marian Hossa and Anthony Rizzo

Bio: I am a student at Grinnell College. I am a huge sports fan, primarily basketball but also football and baseball. The Bulls are my favorite team. I have been watching them as long as I can remember.
Favorite Chicago Sports Memory: Going to the first Bulls/Heat game of the regular season last year in which Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade went at each other at the end. Seeing the 20th anniversary of the first championship ceremony and having Michael Jordan talk about how he thinks “we have 6 more coming” was amazing.
Favorite Chicago Athlete: Michael Jordan and Derrick Rose.

Jason Azul
Location: Chicago (South Loop)
Beat: Chicago Bulls
Bio: As a die-hard Bulls fan & season ticket holder, I graduated from the University of Illinois and now co-host the Mitch & Nillz Bulls Show. I grew up opposite of the “good job, good effort” kid and hated life when the Bulls lost. I also choked in a high school three-point contest by hitting the side of the backboard 4 times in the final round. I did, however, redeem himself 10 years later by draining a three in front of a sellout crowd during a Bulls game to win a trip to Australia. I’d describe the shot as the greatest moment of my life next to touching Micheal Jordan’s shoulder in a crowd like a teenage girl at a Justin Bieber concert.
Favorite Chicago Sports Memory: Sitting at my grandma’s house watching Scottie Pippen dribble out the clock during the final seconds of the 1991 NBA Finals.
Favorite Chicago Sports Athlete: Michael Jordan, Derrick Rose, BJ Armstrong
Claim to Fame: I was once featured in Chicago’s RedEye newspaper for my collection of Bulls memorabilia that features everything from autographed jerseys and shoes to bobbleheads and creepy 18-inch dolls.
