The Chicago Bears schedule was announced on Thursday night as part of the league-wide reveal on NFL Network. Chicago will open up against rival Green Bay on Sunday Night Football in Week 1 as the Matt Nagy era officially begins.

Overall, the schedule is set up pretty nice for the Bears despite two tough primetime games to kick-off the season.

Check out the official schedule released by the Bears below:

As you can see, the Bears open on the road before hosting the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2. They go back on the road to Arizona to face former Bears quarterback Mike Glennon in Week 3. Ahead of their Week 5 bye, the Bears will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tickets for the upcoming 2018 NFL season go on sale at 8 p.m. CT Thursday night at ChicagoBears.com.

Here are some highlights from the schedule:

Primetime Debuts

The Bears will help their longtime rivals the Green Bay Packers celebrate their 100th season at Lambeau Field as they will open their season on Sunday Night. It will mark the eighth consecutive year in which the Bears will play the Packers in Green Bay on primetime.

Nagy and the Bears will make their home season debut the following weekend on Monday Night when they host the Seattle Seahawks. It will be the second time in three years that the Bears will play their home opener on Monday Night Football.

Thanksgiving Table Setter

The Bears will be in Detroit to take on the Lions on Thanksgiving to continue one of the league’s most honored traditions of football on turkey day. The Bears have a long history of taking on the Lions on Thanksgiving and most recently did so in 2014 when they lost 34-17.

Crosstown Classic Double Header (Sort-of)

Week 3 will have the Bears on the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals the same day the Cubs and White Sox finish up a weekend series at Guaranteed Rate Field. The late afternoon start time in Arizona will provide a doubleheader for Chicago Sports fans as the baseball game is slated for one o’clock start. It is a crosstown matchup for the Bears to an extend as the Cardinals called Chicago home and played on the south side for 39 years before moving in 1959.

East Coast Bias

From week 6 to week 9 the Bears will play four consecutive games against AFC East opponents. It will start with a road game against the Dolphins, home games against the New England Patriots and New York Jets, and a road game in week 9 against the Buffalo Bills.

When the Bears visit Buffalo, it will mark their first visit since 2002 and their longest time from visiting an opponent site as they have visited each NFL city at least twice in that span. It will be just the third visit to Buffalo in the last 38 years.

Same old ending

The final game of the season will be on the road against the Minnesota Vikings as it will mark the third consecutive year the Bears will finish the season in Minnesota. It is becoming a sure thing every season as the last five of eight season finales have taken place in Minnesota.
