AJ Pierzynski has been assigned to a brief rehab assignment to AAA Charlotte. Pierzynski said, “if it was up to me, I wish they would just activate me tomorrow. But it’s not my decision and I’ll just do what I’m told. Pierzynski took on-field batting practice today.
Pierzynski was batting .400 over the 10 games Prior to his injury with a homer a 6 RBIs.
