Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is living in the minds of the Indiana Fever rent free this week. The Sky are set to travel to play the Fever at 2 p.m. CST Saturday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The game will be televised on ABC.
Reese and the Sky are set to debut a new-look offense in new head coach Tyler Marsh’s system. Key additions such as Courtney Vandersloot, Kia Nurse, and Ariel Atkins are to open up spacing and make Reese’s life a little easier in 2025.
While Marsh hinted that Reese might have fewer opportunities to record rebounds this season, Reese suggested that skillset would always be a key component of her game. She said, “Rebounds win championships.” Reese also hopes to make the WNBA’s All-Defensive Team.
Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese is in the Fever’s head

Fever head coach Stephanie White is worried about Reese and Kamila Cardoso before Saturday’s matchup. Per a YouTube clip from Scott Agness, White said the Sky’s Biggs are her main concern against the Sky’s lineup.
“How are we gonna keep those bigs off the boards?” White asked. “That’s what’s gonna be going through my mind.”
Reese broke the WNBA’s single-season record for most rebounds with 446 rebounds. She averaged 13.1 rebounds per game in 2024. Still, the Sky finished with a 13-27 record.
Chicago hopes Reese’s numbers on the offensive glass will be fewer than the five per game she averaged in 2024 because of an improved offense. If Reese can dominate the defensive glass, Chicago should give Indiana a run for their money on Saturday.
