Second-year Chicago Sky star Angel Reese recently purchased a home for $1.275 million. The power forward only makes about $81,000 per year on her rookie salary in the WNBA.
Reese is trying to use her platform in the media to advocate for higher pay when WNBA players can negotiate during the next Collective Bargaining Agreement set for after the upcoming season.
Until then, she has to find other ways to pay her bills.
On top of being a basketball player, Reese is trying to build an entrepreneurial lifestyle. She hosts her own podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.” She also has partnerships with brands like McDonald’s, which recently came out with a sandwich meal named after the former LSU standout.
Chicago Sky star partners with Reebok
Per a post by Reebok on X, Reese is partnering with the clothing and footwear company.
“(Reese) doesn’t just play the game—she owns it,” per the post. “On the court, she’s all grit. Off the court, she’s all glam. Now, she’s bringing that same energy to Reebok. Stay tuned—something legendary is coming.”

Angel Reese has a new shoe coming out
Per Sole Retriever, Reebok is releasing a new shoe with Reese.
“EXCLUSIVE: Reebok and Angel Reese unveil the second Reebok x @Reese10Angel Capsule, highlighted by her own colorway of @SHAQ’s Shaqnosis, Sole Retriever posted on X. “The Angel Shaqnosis will release as part of a full collection of footwear and apparel for $150 on May 1st.”
