Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo just made the prediction of the year so far.
Rizzo spoke with the media at Jacob Elementary School as part of a stop on the Cubs Caravan Thursday, and he had some big words. Rizzo guaranteed the Cubs would make the playoffs this season as NL Central Champions.
“We’re going to win the N.L.. Central and you can quote me on that”.

It’s hard not to get excited about the Cubs future with their loaded farm system and free agent acquisitions, but is this a reach from Rizzo?
