Tuesday marked Flag Day in the United States of America so there was no better way to celebrate than some of America’s greatest pastime. The Chicago Cubs were in Washington D.C. for game two of a three game series and before the game, a few players put on a show to honor the country.
Sluggers Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant appeared on MLB Network’s “Intentional Talk” and they belted out the Star Spangled Banner:
As you can see the duo, who go by “Bryzzo”, showed off their vocal skills and got the job done. The beautiful rendition of the anthem may have brought the Cubs some good luck as they beat the Nationals 4-3.
