The Chicago Bears have announced the re-signing of cornerback Demontre Hurst. The move now gives the Bears a full roster at 53 players and more depth at the cornerback position.
With Charles Tillman lost for the season, it was obvious the Bears would make a move. The team tried re-signing Kelvin Hayden who has spent time with the team the past two seasons, but the two parties couldn’t come to an agreement.
Hurst spent the entire 2013 season on the Bears practice squad and played in the week one loss to Buffalo. He recorded two special teams tackles.
