The Chicago Bears have acquired Safety Chris Harris from the Carolina Panthers, which is believed to be in the final stages of the trade.
From Chris Harris official Twitter account (@ChrisHarrisNFL) “Breaking News- I will be traded to Chicago Bears. Carolina you have been great and deeply missed.”
The Bears are likely to be giving up a linebacker and a possible draft pick.
Harris played a couple seasons with the Bears and was traded in 2007. Harris will be a upgrade the Bears defense, which struggled all last season.
