The Chicago White Sox are adding Chance The Rapper to their roster.
According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, the White Sox are close to agreeing to a deal with the Chicago rapper to be a club ambassador. On Wednesday, Chance revealed three new White Sox hats that he helped design with New Era:

Rovell reports that the deal will allow the 22-year-old to be a part of club activities and help target the younger Chicago audience. After seeing the Cubs target the younger markets with commercials with the players as children, the White Sox are now stepping up their game.
Brooks Boyer, the team’s senior vice president of sales and marketing, would not confirm any details of the pitch that was made to the man who was born Chancelor Bennett, but Boyer did spend much of the day talking about him.
The deal is expected to be official this week as Chance will throw out the first pitch at the White Sox first game at US Cellular Field this week.
