Bears 2010 Schedule Released

The NFL has officially released the 2010 NFL Schedule, and that means it’s just that much more closer to the start of the season.

The Bears will open the season by hosting the Detroit Lions on September 12th. This will be the first time since 2004 that the Bears will be at home in week one. Ironically they hosted the Lions, in a loss that day.

The Bears play four prime time games including a trip to Toronto to face the Buffalo Bills. The Bears have never played a game outside of the United States in franchise history.

They also host Green Bay on  Monday Night Football September 27th, then the following week they travel to take on the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football in the Giants new stadium.

A Monday night game at Minnesota December 20th and a Thursday night game in Miami November 18th wrap up the Bears prime time schedule.

The Bears will play seven 2009 playoff teams, with Minnesota and Green Bay being played twice.

The toughest part of the schedule of their schedule seems to come in the first four weeks. In three of those weeks they host 2009 playoff teams in the Cowboys, Packers, Giants.

–Zack Pearson, CCS Bears Writer.
