The Chicago Bears continued to add to their defense on the third day of the 2022 NFL Draft. Dominique Robinson, a defensive lineman out of the Miami of Ohio was picked in the 5th round by the Bears.
With the Bears switching to the 4-3 defense in Matt Eberflus’ system, the defensive line was in need of some additions. Robinson will be able to compete for a spot in the rotation during the transition.
Robinson’s relative athletic score puts him in good company with some other great athletes on the gridiron, including Jevon Kearse.

Bears fans were expecting the team to make moves at the defensive line and linebacker positions this draft. Robinson will be able to be flexible as a defensive end or outside linebacker.
With Khalil Mack leaving the team, the Bears needed depth on defense, Robinson will be able to help with that in the upcoming season. It will be exciting to see what Eberflus will do with a talented young defense.
