According to Michael Lombardi, the Bears are working on a deal with free agent quarterback Jason Campbell.

2:50 PM: Bears Acquire Brandon Marshall

The Chicago Bears have finally got their hands on a number one wide receiver. The Bears have acquired Brandon Marshall from the Miami Dolphins for a 2012 third round pick and a 2013 third round pick.

It’s an excellent move for the Bears, who still have high draft picks this year including a third round pick.

More importantly the Bears have cash to spend in free agency.

Bears cross Colston off their list

It’s obvious the Bears need a wide receiver this off-season, whether it’s during free agency or the draft. You can cross Marques Colston off that list of players the Bears were interested in. Colston has signed a 5-year deal to remain with the Saints.
