Each week several media sites release their NFL Power Rankings. We here at ChiCitySports will gather the rankings from each major site into one post.
Here are the rankings from major media outlets this week:
ESPN
ESPN has the Bears ranked at number 11 for this weeks power rankings, which is up seven spots from last weeks ranking of number 18. The Bears sit behind the Packers at number 8 with a similar 1-1 record.
Other NFC North rankings include the Lions at number 18 down five spots and the Vikings at number 26, down nine spots.
CBS Sports (Pat Kirwan)
Kirwan has the Bears at number 16 in this weeks power rankings on CBS. He has the Bears two spots behind the Packers (#14) and next weeks opponent the Jets, come in at number 15. Kirwin praises the Bears comeback win in San Francisco as well as the defense.
CBS Sports (Pete Prisco)
Prisco has the Bears higher than Kirwan and in the top 10. The Bears come in at number 9 this week up 14 spots from last weeks position.
He also has them ahead of the Packers by one spot, Lions by nine spots and Vikings by 13 spots.
NFL (Elliot Harrison)
The Bears jump 11 spots from number 22 to number 11 in NFL.com’s latest power rankings. They are also ahead of the 49ers by one spot, after their win in San Francisco.
As far as the rest of the NFC North goes: The Packers move down a spot to number eight, the Lions move down four spots to number 19 and the Vikings down four spots to number 23.
