The NFL offseason officially kicks off next week with the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. Head coach John Fox and General Manager Ryan Pace will both be on hand as the team scouts options for the 7th pick in the NFL Draft.
On Tuesday, the Bears released the offseason schedule which includes a voluntary veteran minicamp which will be held just two days before the NFL Draft. The Bears are permitted to hold the camp due to hiring a new head coach.
Other dates:
- Rookie minicamp – May 8-10
- 10 OTA’s – 3 open to media on May 27, June 3 and June 10.
- Bears Gala – May 30th at Soldier Field
- Mandatory full-squad minicamp – June 16-18
The Bears will announce the training camp schedule in the future.
