With wide receiver Marquess Wilson out for a number of weeks, the Chicago Bears are looking for wide receivers to help fill the void. The team announced via press release that they have signed receiver Greg Herd.
Herd was an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys in 2013 and spent time with the Seattle Seahawks in training camp. Herd attended Eastern Michigan where he caught 165 receptions for 2,343 yards and 17 touchdowns in four seasons.
To make room for Herd, the Bears waived Conor O’Neill.
