The Chicago Blackhawks will have plenty to celebrate when looking back at all the franchise has accomplished ahead of its’ 100th season. Winning six Stanley Cups is an incredible accomplishment, and having a stretch like they did in the 2010s still has fans reminiscing of the good old days while the front office is in the middle of a full-scale rebuild. While many are hoping Connor Bedard can be the next Patrick Kane and that this current rebuild can get off the ground floor this season, it will be equally important to celebrate the rich history of Blackhawks hockey this year.
The organization announced on Thursday that there will be a special addition for the franchise this season, that will forever celebrate the legacies of some of the best players to ever wear the Blackhawk sweater.
Chicago Blackhawks announce franchise’s Hall of Fame

Beginning this season, the Blackhawks Hall of Fame will become a staple of the team on a yearly basis. The exhibit will be on full display inside Fifth Third Arena, the team’s practice facility. This will allow the franchise to recognize legendary former players without retiring too many jerseys at the United Center moving forward.
While there are still a few more jerseys that need to be put up in the rafters (Kane, Toews, Keith) in the coming years, this exhibit will allow for legends of the past and the recent dynasty to be recognized among the all-time greats to ever put on the uniform.
