As we move into the final six hours of the MLB trade deadline, this thread will be updated with the latest rumors and trades surrounding the Chicago Cubs.

Update 3:08pm: Per reports, the Cubs are officially done dealing.

Source confirms #Cubs trade Junior Lake to #Orioles for Tommy Hunter and are done dealing for today.

— Patrick Mooney (@PJ_Mooney) July 31, 2015

Update 3:00pm: The Cubs have acquired reliever Tommy Hunter from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for outfielder Junior Lake.

Source: #Cubs get Tommy Hunter.

— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) July 31, 2015

Update 2:47pm: The Cubs will receive cash consideration from the Marlins in the Haren trade.

Update 2:32pm: Per Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers never spoke to the Cubs on Alex Wood. It was part of a larger deal with Indians.

Update 2:23pm: According to Gordon Wittenmyer, if the Cubs are still pursuing Carlos Carrasco from the Indians, the package to acquire him likely starts with Javier Baez.

If Cubs still working on Carrasco, as reported, the package likely starts with Baez. Source said Indians asking for him in a deal with Cubs.

— Gordon Wittenmyer (@GDubCub) July 31, 2015

Update 2:21pm: Cubs appear leaning toward a smaller deal for a reliever, Peter Gammons reports.

At this point Cubs are down to smaller deal for reliever. 3-way deal strongly denied as ever existing

— Peter Gammons (@pgammo) July 31, 2015

Update 2:06pm: Los Angeles Dodgers talking about sending pitcher Alex Wood to Cubs.

Hearing #Dodgers are talking about moving Alex Wood to #Cubs

— Joel Sherman (@Joelsherman1) July 31, 2015

Update 1:52pm: Bob Nightengale reports that the Cubs and Padres are mostly only dealing with each other at this point, and that they don’t necessarily need a third team to pull off a blockbuster.

The #Padres and #Cubs dealing primarily with one another, may not necessarily need 3rd team to pull off blockbuster involving Ross/Kimbrel

— Bob Nightengale (@BNightengale) July 31, 2015

Update 1:30pm: According to Bob Nightengale, the Cubs “would love” to make a deal for Tyson Ross and Craig Kimbrel from the Padres. Nightengale acknowledges that this may or may not be realistic. At the very least, the Cubs remain interested.

The #Cubs would love to pull off a blockbuster and land Ross and Kimbrel from the #Padres

— Bob Nightengale (@BNightengale) July 31, 2015

Update 1:23pm: David Kaplan reports that the Cubs are “actively working phones,” but are hesitant to trade big pieces unless the deal is a home run.

Cubs actively working phones according to MLB exec. "Theo+Jed just aren't comfortable trading away big pieces unless they hit HR in deal."

— David Kaplan (@thekapman) July 31, 2015

Update 1:01pm: The Marlins will receive RHP Ivan Pineyro and SS Elliot Soto in exchange for Dan Haren. Soto is very strong defensively, but has offensive questions, while Pineyro has had success at Double-A, but was Rule-5 eligible.

Update 12:44pm: The Marlins will reportedly receive two minor leaguers, who are as of yet, unnamed.

Update 12:30pm: The Cubs have reportedly traded for pitcher Dan Haren from the Miami Marlins.

Source: Haren to Cubs from Marlins.

— Gordon Wittenmyer (@GDubCub) July 31, 2015

Update 12:14pm: Huffington Post columnist Jordan Schultz reporting that he’s hearing rumors that Padres’ closer Craig Kimbrel could end up in Chicago.

Most reports and rumors have Padres star closer Craig Kimbrel to the Red Sox or Yankees. Hearing strongly it will be the Chicago Cubs

— Jordan Schultz (@Schultz_Report) July 31, 2015

Update 12:12pm: Jon Morosi confirms that the Cubs, Red Sox, and Padres have discussed a three-team trade.

#Cubs, #Padres and #RedSox have discussed a three-team trade, source confirms.

— Jon Morosi (@jonmorosi) July 31, 2015

Update 11:44am: Not many new reports, but the general silence has continued to breathe life into the report of a potential blockbuster building between Cubs, Padres, and Red Sox. Nick Cafardo mentions the Red Sox looking to move “immovable” assets.

Red Sox trying to move some "immovable" assets. Pablo Sandoval perhaps? Padres and Giants bid last offseason, but Giants happy with Duffy.

— Nick Cafardo (@nickcafardo) July 31, 2015

Update 10:53am: ESPN’s Jim Bowden reports that Javier Baez is one of the Padres top trade targets as a long-term answer at shortstop. If this were to materialize, it would likely be centered on a Tyson Ross-Javier Baez swap.

#Padres committed to solving long-term shortstop at the trade deadline: Jorge Mateo #Yankees & Javier Baez #Cubs top of their trade targets

— Jim Bowden⚾️ (@JimBowdenGM) July 31, 2015

Update 10:28am: Buster Olney starts hinting at something big brewing.

There is some speculation within the industry about a possible BOS/Cubs/Padres three-way blockbuster taking shape. Lots of pieces that fit.

— Buster Olney (@Buster_ESPN) July 31, 2015

Update 10:08am: Carlos Carrasco, 28, currently holds a 4.03 ERA, but has a shocking 2.83 FIP, showing he has been the consistent recipient of some major bad luck across the season. He would come with a significant amount of team control, as he would be under contract through 2019.

Update 10:00am: The Cubs have shown interest in Baltimore Orioles reliever Tommy Hunter. Hunter, 29, currently has a 3.63 ERA (3.32 FIP), and a WHIP of 1.16.

Update 9:55am: The Cubs continue to be in the running for Texas Rangers pitcher Yovani Gallardo.

#Dodgers, #Cubs and #Jays still in mix on Gallardo. #Rangers say they're content to keep him if they can't get what they want.

— Jerry Crasnick (@jcrasnick) July 31, 2015

Update 9:20am: The two primary players mentioned across this morning have been Atlanta Braves starter Julio Teheran, and Cleveland Indians starter Carlos Carrasco. But according to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports says that Teheran may not be in play anymore.

very possible teheran's name was out there earlier. but price tag presumably was very high. not out there now.

— Jon Heyman (@JonHeyman) July 31, 2015

And as for Carrasco, Jayson Stark names the Cubs as one of “a slew” of teams interested.

#BlueJays haven't given up on Carlos Carrasco. Source says they're among a "slew of teams" talking to #Indians about him. #Dodgers #Cubs
