Chris Harris, starting safety for the Chicago Bears, has an awesome official site with a bunch of cool features. As a fan, I find myself checking for updates often. Included is a link to his blog, facebook, twitter, etc. I have to give props to Chris for his desire to interact with his fans and followers. Recently he ran a contest called “Hit Stick’em with The Hitman”. Chris had fans show off their best highlights using him as a player in Madden 2011 and submit the video to youtube. The 3 best entries received prizes, 2nd place going to….ChiCitySports. We won a pair of autographed gloves for our video, you can view our submission here on his site.
If you’re a fan…of well….being a fan, you’re going to love his site. With the Bears first game coming up tomorrow, instead of us regurgitating our own preview and analysis, check out Chris Harris’s preview of the game vs the Lions. Personally I am awaiting a hitstick of his own, on Jahvid Best or Calvin Johnson. This will be Chris’s first game back at Soldier Field since January of 2007 when the Bears won the NFC Championship vs the New Orleans Saints.
