College Football Week 3 and Thursday Night Football Week 2 Betting Advice

This weekly series will include all of the best bets to make for the College Football and NFL seasons. Let’s face it, everyone is interested in winning money based on your knowledge of sports. So I am creating this series to help your chances in taking home weekly profits to make the best season in sports even better.

Thursday Night Football

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Best Bet: Baltimore Ravens (-1)

The spread for this game is only 1 point and Baltimore is coming off a huge victory against the Bills beating them 47-3. The Bengals are also coming off of a good, come-from-behind win against the Colts in Andrew Luck’s first game since 2016. But I’ve made the mistake of betting on Andy Dalton to deliver when it counts which is why I believe the Ravens will take this game on the road.

College Football 

Oklahoma vs. Iowa State

Best Bet: Oklahoma (17.5)

Kyler Murray is a top-5 candidate for the Heisman and already has a 95.6 QBR.

Ohio State vs. TCU

Best Bet: Over 60

These are very high-powered offenses with solid defenses. I think this game will go over 60 by the end of the 3rd quarter.

Arizona State vs. San Diego St

Best Bet: Arizona State (-4.5)

The Sun Devils are a very streaky football team that has the capability of scoring a ton of point. In the last five games for SDSU, they have not scored more than 10 points against a ranked opponent.

Washington vs. Utah

Best Bet: Washington (-6.5)/Under 47.5

If you’re up for a risk, this might be a good parlay bet because both have a good chance of hitting. The Huskies are coming off a 42 point victory last week and the Utes are coming off an abysmal  11 point victory over the NIU Huskies.

Florida State vs. Syracuse

Best Bet: Florida State (-3)

Florida State’s offense has kind of been a disappointment but so has Syracuse’s defense. The ‘Noles showed some signs of life in QB Deondre Francois in the first two games. FSU should get things figured out by this week.

Lock of the Week

Middle Tennessee vs. Georgia

Best Bet: Georgia (-32.5)

Jake Fromm tore up the Cocks last week and MTSU is significantly worse than South Carolina. To top everything off, Georgia is at home.
