Just 1 day after signing away a key player for the Packers in Lucas Patrick, the Packers got their revenge. Tom Pelissero reported that he signed with the Packers this morning.
During a period of time when the Bears offense has struggled, Bear fans saw Pat O’Donnell on the field probably more than any other Chicago Bear in that timeframe. O’Donnell was the Bears punter for the last 8 seasons. Green Bay will get a reliable punter who has a strong average in cold temperatures.

O’Donnell, 31, was a sixth-round pick for the Bears in 2014. With 577 punts in his career, 220 landed within the 20 yard line. His most impressive stat may be his touchdown pass that he threw during the 2017 season to Benny Cunningham. Most importantly the Bears will lose Cairo Santos’ holder, who has hit 56 of his last 62 field goals.
With that said, goodnight Sweet Prince.
