Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu is having one heck of a season.
The 30-year-old is hitting .300/.350/.534 in 120 games for the White Sox this season. He’s on pace to reach 100 RBI’s yet again this season as he sits at 76 going into Monday’s double-header with the Minnesota Twins.
But during the first game, Abreu had a milestone moment.
Abreu became the first White Sox player to 25 home runs in each of his first four seasons in the major leagues, when he connected on a homer during the fifth inning of Game 1:

Abreu has been fantastic both on and off the field. With the team rebuilding, he’s been a vocal leader in the clubhouse and helped bring Cuban outfielder Luis Robert to the team.
He’s also helped work with phenom Yoan Moncada, who made his major league debut last month.
The veteran is on a tear right now, with a nine-game hitting streak and has 18 hits during those games.
