As reported by Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears have lost cornerback Kelvin Hayden to a left hamstring injury for the 2013 season. Hayden tore his hamstring at Solider Field Saturday during practice. Biggs reports that rehab will take six to eight months. Hayden was in competition for the starting nickel back job with Isaiah Frey, a 6th round pick from UNLV in 2012. Frey has been impressive throughout camp, being the fastest to complete the initial conditioning test to open camp, and has had a knack for getting his hands on the football so far in camp.
