Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant has added another accolade to his already stellar young career.

The 25-year-old hit two home runs in Sunday’s win over the Milwaukee Brewers, giving him a total of 10 for the season.

But his second one made Chicago Cubs history.

According to the MLB Stat of the Day Twitter account, Bryant became the first Cubs third baseman to hit 75 home runs in the first three years of his career:

Bryant is just 42 games into the third season of his career and he could reach 100 home runs for his career at the end of this season. In 2016 he hit 39, just a year after hitting 28 in his rookie year.

While the Cubs have been struggling out of the gate, Bryant has been consistent.

His performance Sunday was the best of his 2017 campaign thus far, going 3-3 with 2 RBI and scoring 4 runs.

Bryant made a little history within the game as well:

He also showed his power to the opposite field with one of his home runs:

That’s a great sign for Cubs fans, as Bryant’s terror continues for opposing teams. I bet the Brewers wished Sunday’s game was cancelled.

Chicago begins a four-game series with San Francisco to close out a home stand on Monday night.
