The health of Chicago Bears guard Kyle Long will be a big storyline going into the 2018 season. Long has been placed on injured reserve in each of the past two seasons as he’s been dealing with injuries to his ankle, shoulder, finger and neck.
Long underwent surgery to fix the problems and finally get healthy in what he hopes is a successful 2018 season.
While we haven’t heard much on the status of Long, he did provide an update Friday morning when he was on 670 The Score. Long told Dan Bernstein and Connor McKnight that he’s felt the healthiest he has in years.

The Bears will be holding veteran minicamp next week which is optional and it’s not expected that Long will participate. He’s still rehabbing from the surgeries and the hope is that he will be ready for the start of the season.
Still, this little bit of news is good right now for Bears fans.
