The IceHogs hosted the Milwaukee Admirals for a Sunday afternoon match in Rockford. Rockford’s record against Milwaukee hasn’t been great so far this season, having lost 5 of 7 games. During Sunday’s game, Rockford tallied first with a goal by Vince Hinostroza midway in the first period and Milwaukee’s Adam Payerl tied the game up 7 minutes later. The second period ended with the teams even again with goals by P.C. Labrie for the IceHog and Matt White for the Admirals. The third period went scoreless and the game went into Sudden Death Overtime. At 1:08 into the OT period, Rockford’s P.C. Labrie scored the game winning goal.
IceHogs released news late Sunday night announcing a trade by the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blackhawks have traded Jeremy Morin in exchange for Richard Panik from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The IceHogs’ next home game is scheduled for January 12, 2016 in Rockford.
