We are all athletes believe it or not. Now Nike wants to prove that to us here in Chicago with a new training program set to kickoff this weekend.
Nike just recently opened up a brand new training facility in the West Loop designed to help Chicagoans with motivation and reaching their physical potential. The new training program dubbed “Train Chicago” launches this Saturday as a six week program hosted by Nike Master Trainers Jason Raynor and Emily Hutches along with other trainers and athletes in the area.
Each Saturday session will be limited to 100 participants and will have a special sports theme to it. At the end of the session the trainers will conclude with three challenges. The top two finishers will earn a entry to the final event held by Bo Jackson.
Here is the schedule:
- May 9: Gridiron-Fit (With Sherrick McMannis)
- May 16: Ice-Fit
- May 30: Diamond-Fit
- June 5: Pitch-Fit
- June 13: Hoop-Fit
- June 20: Final Train at special location
In addition to the Saturday sessions, Nike is also offering sessions on Tuesday and Thursday that are limited to just 60 participants. You can register every Monday starting at 10 am to participate at Nike.com/Chicago. The location is at 1800 W. Walnut Street in the West Loop.
