Wakefield pitched 6 innings this year surrendering 7 hits and 4 earned runs vs the Sox and has a 4.97 career ERA in 22 games vs. the South Siders. Floyd has pitched 6 career games compiling a 5-0 record and 3.83 ERA vs the Carmines and has 6.2 innings this year leading to a win.

Jon Lester LHP (10-4, 3.23) @ Phil Humber RHP (8-6, 3.27)

The Sox have had success vs the Boston lefty as he surrendered 7 earned runs on 8 hits over 5.2 Innings earlier this year and has compiled a 2-3 record in his career. Humber has only one game vs the Red Sox in which he went 7.2 strong and surrendered 4 earned on 9 hits.

Andrew Miller LHP (4-1, 5.45) @ Mark Buehrle LHP (8-5, 3.22)

Miller has 10.1 innings vs the Sox giving up 11 earned on 18 hits and has yet to face them this year. Buehrle is 6-6 with a 4.57 ERA in his career against the AL East foes and his will be start # 1 this year against them
