The Chicago White Sox have stockpiled pitching prospects and have just added the best arm in the 2014 MLB draft according to many scouts.
He is 6′ 3″ and weighs 234 pounds. Rodon went to school at North Carolina State and pitched well. He was 6-7 last year and earned a 2.01 ERA while starting 14 games along with 3 complete games.
The lefthanded pitcher is projected to make a formidable duo with Chris Sale as 2 left handed pitchers at the top of the White Sox rotation. The real decision for Rick Hahn is to determine whether or not Rodon could reach the majors this year as a reliever similar to what Chris Sale did in 2010, or if they will take their time with Rodon and let him progress through the Sox farm system as a starter.
