In a new segment, we are going to take a look at what’s going on around the division via other team blogs across the net.

This week first place is on the line in the NFC North as the Green Bay Packers visit Minnesota to take on the Vikings. The Packers are on a three-game losing streak, while the Vikings have won five in a row and look to build on their NFC North lead.

Here’s what they are saying around the wire:

Arif Hasan of the Daily Norseman put out an excellent pice on Teddy Bridgewater and the quarterback’s performance this season. Hasan analyzed Bridgewater’s play, even before the Oakland game, and it’s fantastic all-around.

With a big matchup going on in Minnesota, there’s tons around the net to get your fix for the game on Sunday. Vikings Territory has the keys for a Minnesota win over Green Bay.

Meanwhile, there’s some panic over in Green Bay as you can see by this piece from Lombardi Ave. There’s also a lot of talk about Aaron Rodgers, who showed up on the injury report on Wednesday.

Oh then there’s this on Rodgers by Packers beat writer Rob Demovsky:

A longtime NFL agent told me recently that when he sees one of his top-performing clients play differently, as Rodgers has of late, the first thing he wonders is if something is going on in his personal life. There’s no indication that Rodgers’ relationship status has changed. Lions reporters said they spotted Rodgers’ girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, at Lambeau Field on Sunday.

Yikes.

As for those Detroit Lions who upset the Packers last Sunday, they are feeling pretty good about ending that streak. And after the win, the Lions have a favorable schedule to try and brighten up what has been a very poor season to date.
